Job Location (Full Address) 601 Elmwood Ave, Rochester, New York, United States of America, 14642 Job Details Type: Regular (Full time). Hours: 36 per week. Shift: UR URCG 210 H. Pay range: $28.00 – $36.40 per hour. Schedule 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM Responsibilities Produce high‑quality X‑ray images by conducting exams safely and efficiently. Verify and follow referring providers’ orders while complying with departmental policies. Apply a sound understanding of human anatomy and X‑ray positioning, including immobilization devices when warranted. Prepare room and patient per order, set up equipment, position patients, and determine proper exposure factors. Utilize electronic patient information systems to verify patient identity, date, exam, and provider comments, following the Dual patient identifier procedure. Maintain supplies in the X‑ray rooms. Produce diagnostic, high‑quality images for interpretation by the Radiologist. Transfer patients using assistive devices such as ARJO lift, transfer boards, hover mats, etc. Maintain accurate patient record keeping, ensuring images are sent correctly to PACS. Complete billing for studies accurately. At an advanced level, train new employees or lead day‑to‑day work activities. Qualifications Completion of formal training in an approved School of Radiologic Technology. Maintain current NYS licensure and ARRT certification with required CE credits.
