As a Network Admin, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining our organization's network infrastructure. Your role will involve overseeing network administration, troubleshooting complex issues, and ensuring the performance, availability, and security of our network systems.Responsibilities:Configure and maintain network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and VPN concentratorsMonitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimization strategies to ensure optimal throughput and reliabilityTroubleshoot and resolve network issues using firewall logs, switch packet capture tools; engaging with cross-functional teams to leverage support and collaboration when necessaryConduct network capacity planning and bandwidth management to accommodate future growth and changing business needsCollaborate with other teams to integrate network infrastructure with cloud services, storage systems, and other IT componentsStay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in networking and recommend their adoption as appropriateCreate and maintain documentation related to network configurations, diagrams, standard operating procedures, and troubleshooting guidesProvide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to junior network engineersManaging, monitoring, maintaining, and securing networks and tenant network segments that integrate the transport of networks and dataOrganizing, documenting, and managing the delivery of Network load balancing servicesDocument and Manage Internet Protocol AddressesSeven (7)+ years of experience in a Network Administrator role or in a related fieldActive Secret clearance.Due to federal requirements, all candidates must be US Citizens without Dual Citizenship to another country.This is an on-site position at a government facility.Requires presence on-site five days per week in Annapolis Junction, MD.Candidates must reside within a commutable distance.Participation in a rotational on-call schedule for emergency page-outs is required.Five (5) or more years of experience in the following:Cisco ASACisco FirePOWERCisco CatalystCisco NexusAvaya PoE SwitchesF5 LTM and GTM load balancersKEMP load balancersJuniper SRX firewallExtreme Network IPSION SAL Modem SA5610Raritan Secure Console ServerAvocent KVM SwitchRedSeal Appliance SYS‐1027R‐WRF4+SafeNet 7000Avaya Media Gateway G450IBM DataPower XML FirewallSolarWinds - NPM, SAM, IPAM, NetflowIBM NetcoolEEO Employer:RELI Group is an Equal Employment Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer.
