Position Summary Leads and develops teams by teaching, training, and listening to associates, overseeing store operations, implementing business solutions, and driving financial performance. Responsibilities Teach, train, and actively listen to associates while touring stores and providing feedback. Communicate and collaborate with all levels of associates regarding store operations, utilizing technology, merchandising, and company direction. Introduce and lead company change efforts, providing clear expectations and business objectives to teams. Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards, following the One Best Way service model. Manage and support customer service initiatives, including community outreach programs and complaint resolution. Develop and implement action plans to correct deficiencies and improve processes for a high‑quality customer experience. Drive financial performance and sales by reviewing Profit Loss statements, assisting in budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses. Ensure effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes. Mitigate shrink and ensure sales and profit goals are achieved. Provide supervision, training, and development opportunities for hourly associates, including hiring, performance management, and recognition. Promote a belonging mindset in the workplace and recruit qualified associates to meet staffing needs. Coordinate job‑related activities and assignments, building accountability and measuring progress. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, supporting company mission and values of ethics and integrity. Build high‑performing teams, embrace differences, and create a workplace where associates feel supported and connected. Attract and retain talent, develop and recognize contributions, and act with integrity and humility. Serve customers and members by putting the customer first and making decisions based on data insights. Strive for excellence by driving continuous improvements, adopting new technologies, and supporting others through change. Minimum Qualifications 2 years’ of college OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience. For facilities that sell firearms: successful completion of a firearms‑specific Criminal Background Check and Firearms Authorized Training. For facilities that sell only ammunition and have state‑specific requirements: current state‑issued Certificate of Eligibility. Required to attend and successfully complete all job‑required trainings and assessments. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U.
