We are seeking a reliable, safety-focused Box Truck Driver to join our team executing freight routes within the Amazon network. In this role, you will operate 26-foot box trucks to transport goods between Amazon fulfillment centers, sortation centers, and delivery stations. You will use mobile route navigation tools, manage freight handoffs, and adhere to strict safety and timing standards.

​Key Responsibilities

​ Vehicle Operation : Safely drive 26-ft box trucks (automatic transmission) across local, regional, or dedicated middle-mile routes according to assigned schedules. ​App & Route Management: Utilize the Amazon Relay application on a mobile device for route navigation, facility check-ins/check-outs, load updates, and digital proof-of-delivery (POD).

​ Cargo Handling & Security : Load, unload, and maneuver palletized cargo using lift gates, manual pallet jacks, or electric pallet jacks. Properly secure freight with E-track straps, load bars, and dunnage to protect cargo during transit.

​Pre- & Post-Trip Inspections : Perform daily Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIRs), checking tires, lights, brakes, fluid levels, and emergency equipment before and after each shift.

​Compliance & Safety : Maintain complete compliance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) standards, state traffic laws, and company safety rules.

​ Communication : Maintain regular contact with dispatch regarding arrival times, facility delays, weather hazards, or mechanical issues.

​Required Qualifications ​ Driver's License : Active, valid state driver’s license (Standard license).

​ DOT Medical Card : Valid Department of Transportation (DOT) Medical Examiner’s Certificate.

​ Age Requirement: Minimum 21 years of age (standard commercial driving requirement).

​ Clean Driving Record: Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major moving violations, DUIs, or reckless driving charges within the past 3–5 years.

​Background & Screening : Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and DOT drug screen.

​Physical Stamina : Physical capacity to lift up to 50–70 lbs unassisted, push/pull loaded pallet jacks, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

​ Preferred Skills & Attributes

​ Experience : 1+ years of professional driving experience operating 26' box trucks, straight trucks, or commercial delivery vehicles.

​ Amazon System Knowledge : Familiarity with the Amazon Relay platform or prior experience navigating Amazon fulfillment/sortation facilities.

​ Tech Proficiency : Comfortable navigating smart devices, GPS apps, and electronic logging devices (ELDs).

​ Punctuality : Strong time-management skills and commitment to meeting strict dispatch windows.
