Are you an experienced industrial painter or automotive/body shop painter looking for a long-term opportunity with outstanding earning potential? A well-established manufacturing company in Akron, Ohio is seeking a dependable Industrial Painter to join its production team. This is a temp-to-hire position that offers a path to a union career , where your hourly wage increases to $23.00/hour upon hire.

Schedule

• Monday – Friday
• 5:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• Occasional overtime as production demands

Pay

• Starting Pay: $19.50/hour
• Upon Union Hire: $23.00/hour

Responsibilities

• Prepare parts and surfaces for painting using proper cleaning and masking techniques.
• Apply industrial coatings using spray equipment while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Inspect finished products to ensure proper coverage and appearance.
• Safely operate a tow motor to transport materials and finished products throughout the facility.
• Maintain painting equipment and keep the work area clean and organized.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.

Qualifications

• Previous industrial painting experience or automotive/body shop painting experience is required.
• Previous tow motor (forklift) experience is required.
• Ability to produce consistent, high-quality work.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Reliable attendance and dependable work history.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work overtime when needed.
