New Graduates welcome to apply! What to Expect as a Radiology Tech with OrthoArizona This role does not require you to perform fluoroscopy or be involved in surgery. Your responsibilities Prepare patients for radiologic procedures Explain all procedures to patients, ensuring all questions are answered Protect patients from unnecessary exposure to radiation by utilizing shielding equipment Take x-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety Document patient care services in chart Import outside imaging to office PACS Scan documents into EMR Maintain QC logs and service records, monitor dosimetry badges as required by state and federal regulations Ensure equipment is in working order, maintain radiology supplies and report malfunctions Your experience should include 1 – 2 years Radiology experience, preferably in a busy orthopedic practice or hospital Completion of an approved American College of Radiology Technologist Program Certificate of Medical Imaging Modality by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) Arizona State license Medical Radiologic Technologist Board of Examiners (MRTBE) Maintain CPR certification About OrthoArizona Dedicated to serving the Greater Phoenix community since 1994, OrthoArizona is the largest and most accomplished physician-owned orthopedic and musculoskeletal care group in Arizona.
