Strategic Sourcing Manager (IT)

Akkodis is currently seeking a contract to hire Strategic Sourcing Manager (IT). We are seeking an experienced Strategic Sourcing Manager to support a fast-paced, high-volume IT and SaaS procurement environment. This role is ideal for a results-driven sourcing professional who thrives in a dynamic setting, excels at managing complex technology contracts, and can effectively partner with both technical and business stakeholders to drive strategic sourcing initiatives. Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end sourcing activities across IT, SaaS, software, and technology-related categories Manage a high-volume contract pipeline, including renewals, amendments, and new vendor engagements. Drive RFx processes, supplier evaluations, negotiations, and contract execution Collaborate closely with IT teams and business leaders to develop sourcing strategies aligned with technical and operational requirements Provide consistent communication regarding project status, risks, timelines, and next steps Build and maintain strong relationships with technology and SaaS vendors to maximize value and performance Utilize procurement tools such as Ariba to manage sourcing activities and workflows Proactively identify and elevate potential issues to ensure timely delivery of procurement objectives Qualifications 10+ years of strategic sourcing and procurement experience, with a strong emphasis on IT and SaaS categories Demonstrated success managing high-volume sourcing and contract environments Strong expertise in vendor negotiations, contract management, and stakeholder engagement Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences Experience within financial services or other regulated industries is highly preferred Familiarity with procurement and sourcing platforms such as Ariba is preferred Benefits Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, term life insurance, short-term disability insurance, additional voluntary benefits, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
