Per Diem - HVAC/Refrigeration Technician

Job Description Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing all types of HVAC and refrigeration systems within the facility. Systems maintained include, but are not limited to, air handlers, exhaust fans, package units, roof top units, split type heating and cooling systems, glycol, chilled water systems, hot water, steam heating systems, etc. Maintains pneumatic controls, building automation system. Operates and monitors pneumatic tube system, elevators and fire alarm system. Qualifications Work requires a high school diploma or equivalent and one but less than two years of basic technical or occupationally specific training in HVAC Refrigeration and five to seven years of previous work-related experience. EPA Type 4 Certification required. Valid driver’s license required, as well as compliance with qualifications to drive a system vehicle and all policies outlined in the SJHS Fleet Management & Safety Program.
