Certified Nursing Assistant

Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our growing healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience providing care to residents in skilled nursing facilities. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.

Duties

• Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding, to promote independence and comfort.
• Monitor and record vital signs, such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure, to ensure accurate patient data.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families, fostering a sense of connection and well-being.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and ensure records are up-to-date and secure.
• Assist with mobility needs, including safe transfers to and from beds or wheelchairs, to promote patient safety and independence.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by adhering to infection control protocols and ensuring a comfortable living space for patients.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to implement patient care plans effectively, promoting seamless care coordination and patient outcomes.

Experience

• Familiarity with medical documentation systems is a valuable asset.
• Experience in specialized areas, such as memory care or hospice care, is beneficial.
