Yard Supervisor

Responsibilities Complete Daily/Weekly/Monthly Audits Daily Scheduling with Employee Time and Attendance Assist in security/loss prevention Monitor Productivity Monitor and maintain a clean work environment Enforce safety awareness Oversee loading of vehicles Handle Employee/Customer Service Issues Maintain supply inventory and purchase supplies Enforce company policy and procedure Ability to complete all job tasks for positions supervised Travel as needed Maintain confidential information/documentation Ability to work on mechanical issues present on lots Fleet Management and preventive maintenance Monitor and maintain yard fence Facility and yard maintenance Available to answer alarm calls as needed Required Skills & Experience 1+ year of supervisory or equivalent experience High School Diploma; some college or higher preferred Basic knowledge of automotive mechanics Excellent customer service skills and attitude Computer proficiency (MS Suite experience) Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment Ability to direct and train others effectively as a team member Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to delegate and prioritize tasks Ability to work independently or as part of a team Fluent in English (reading/writing) Ability to coach, mentor, and train staff Ability to differentiate colors Inventory management skills Bilingual skills a plus Valid driver’s license Occasional overtime Pay: $24.60 - $27.53 Benefits Summary Medical/Dental/Vision 401k plus a company match ESPP – Employee Stock Purchase Plan EAP – Employee Assistance Program (no cost to you) Vacation & Sick pay Paid Company Holidays Life and AD&D Insurance Discounts E-Verify Program Participant: Copart participates in the Department of Homeland Security U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services' E-Verify program (For U.S. applicants and employees only).
