Job Description As a Security Officer Screening Monitor in Hutchins, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a screener at a fast‑paced logistics and distribution location, where you will help support screening operations, monitor activity, and assist with access and entry procedures. Position Type Full Time Pay Rate $16.82 / Hour Job Schedule DayTime Wed 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM Fri 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM Sat 06:00 PM – 06:00 AM Sun 06:00 PM – 06:00 AM What You’ll Do Provide customer service by carrying out site‑specific screening procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a busy logistics and distribution location. Screen associates, visitors, packages, and/or vehicles entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and client‑directed procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and report security‑related concerns to the appropriate site contacts. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or shipping documentation, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, noting unusual activity, damaged barriers, and/or other security‑related issues. Minimum Requirements Possess at least 6 months of security‑related experience. Be at least 21 years of age. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
