$19.00 per hour
Schedule:
Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Job Overview
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Packaging Assistant to join a growing manufacturing team in Red Hook, NY. This hands-on role supports the production and packaging of high-quality skincare products made with food-grade ingredients in a workshop environment.
The ideal candidate enjoys working with their hands, thrives in a fast-paced setting, and takes pride in producing quality products. While prior packaging experience is preferred, we are willing to train motivated individuals with a strong work ethic.

Packaging Assistant Responsibilities:

• Package finished products for shipment and distribution
• Assist with production line setup and daily manufacturing operations
• Inspect materials and finished products to ensure quality standards are met
• Pick, pack, label, and prepare outgoing orders
• Box, palletize, and organize products for shipping
• Maintain accurate production, inventory, and packaging records
• Receive and organize incoming shipments
• Assist with inventory counts and stock organization
• Clean and maintain workstations, equipment, and production areas
• Follow all safety, quality, and sanitation procedures

Qualifications & Skills:

• Previous packaging, production, warehouse, manufacturing, kitchen, bakery, or food production experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, adaptable, and willing to learn new tasks
• Experience operating production equipment or forklifts is a plus

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds regularly
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Frequent bending, reaching, squatting, pushing, and pulling
• Comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing environment
