Shipping Physical Job Description

Stand and/or walk for 8 hours or more.

Able to lift up to 85 lbs. Assistance required for all weighing over 85 lbs.

Able to load, push and pull hand trucks, dollies and pallet jacks with furniture parts up to 100lbs as required, finished product or materials up to 85lbs into or out of work area.

Must be able to operate & drive forklift.

Setting and using upper body motion for extended periods of time, hand and eye coordination.

Grasping with hands and fingers to be able to operate electric/air hand tools weighing up to 20lbs and pulling material.

Tolerate wood dust.

Required to wear safety glasses.

Tolerate moderate cold/heat. (production plant in not centrally heated or cooled).

Be able to twist, stoop and bend.
