Assistant Store Leader (Assistant Manager) (Somerset)

Assistant Store Leader (Assistant Manager) Location: Somerset, Massachusetts Responsibilities & Qualifications Oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching alongside the Store Leader for all store employees. Maintain high retention by identifying qualified applicants, developing leaders, empowering employees, and encouraging productivity. Assist in implementing merchandising and marketing programs. Handle cash, fuel transactions, and promote the loyalty program. Ensure a clean, safe environment by complying with all health and sanitation procedures, maintaining store presentation and product availability. Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills. Possess competent computer knowledge (Microsoft Word, Excel preferred). High School diploma or GED preferred; not required if the candidate has at least one year of Retail Management experience. Hold a valid Driver’s License for the state of residence and maintain automotive liability insurance during employment. Multi‑task, bend, stand, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
