Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30)

Experience: Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required

License: RN license

Certifications: BLS, ACLS required (AHA only)

Must-Have: Epic experience required

Description: Evening/Night shifts available. 12-hour shifts may include every other weekend and some holidays. Previous charge experience preferred. Patient ratios during days and nights are 2:1. Float may be required as needed. Must have experience in accessing/managing ports and arterial line management. Experience in care of ventilated patients is essential. Ability to monitor central venous pressure is required. Telemetries and management of dysrhythmias are critical skills. Experience with blood product administration is beneficial. Knowledge of pulmonary management and respiratory failure is expected. Travelers may be assigned to burn patients, but will not be required to perform burn care. Unit provides interdisciplinary support including therapy services and pharmacy. Patient population includes neonates, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Care includes those with chemical, electrical, scald, or thermal burns. Position requires a collaborative approach within a supportive multidisciplinary team. This facility is recognized as a leading hospital and teaching institution.
