Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Rotating Weekends and Holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in a Labor and Delivery setting throughout all stages of labor and birth
• Deliver postpartum care for mothers and newborns following delivery
• Perform circulator duties in the Labor and Delivery environment
• Monitor fetal status using electronic fetal monitoring and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate facilities as needed
• Complete required orientation modules prior to and during the start of assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active Ohio RN licensure
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery, including postpartum care for mother and baby
• Circulator experience required
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Current BLS certification
• Current EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring) certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Epic electronic health records system
• Current ACLS certification
• Current S.T.A.B.L.E. program certification
