Must-Have: 1 year of EPIC experience

Description: Shift: 3x12 Nights from 1900-0730. Floating is required if needed to similar units or nearby facilities. Patient diagnoses include orthopedics and bariatric cases, within a telemetry unit. Medication system utilized is Pyxis. Must possess at least 1 year of EPIC experience. Routine patient ratio experience is 5-6:1 during days and 6:1 during nights. Daily census is approximately 20 patients. Unit consists of 25 beds, with interdisciplinary support from various services including physical therapy and pharmacy. Experience in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias is essential. Travelers may be required to complete pre-assignment testing and modules prior to starting. Compliance with floating requirements is mandatory for all assignments. Modules are eligible for reimbursement, up to 16 hours. All staff will only float to units where competencies have been demonstrated. Non-billable orientation hours may be required. Completion of special modules is an annual requirement.
