Vetco Clinic Lead

Position Summary Field Team Lead for pet clinic operations. Provides functional direction to field staff, oversees clinic execution, and serves as the primary escalation point for clinic-related issues. Responsibilities Provide functional direction and supervision to field team. Perform functions of all clinic team roles and coach individuals as necessary. Safely operate company-supplied vehicle to and from clinic locations and office when assigned as driver. Lift up to 40 lbs as required. Effectively communicate with customers and business partners to manage difficult situations, including pet incidents. Primary point of contact for Market Manager on clinic related issues. Liaise with clinic leadership to determine optimal clinic location, crowd management practices, and address any issues that arise. Ensure all clinic processes are followed and necessary paperwork is completed accurately. Facilitate a sales environment by leading targeted discussion topics during daily commute. Handle day‑to‑day revenues, deposit funds to safe or bank. Assist customers in completing accurate medical record paperwork. Manage crowd control, clean up pet waste, and handle disruptive pets. Offer available discounts to satisfy customers experiencing disruptions. Load and unload equipment and supplies from company vehicle safely. Assist in training new partners according to the training plan. Communicate Vetco medical recommendations, booster schedules, and products. Collaborate with store management to foster cooperation and business success. Present clinic report card and site report to Market Manager upon conclusion of clinic. Obtain gross sales receipt or SKU movement report from Market Manager. Confirm clinic area is clean and free of trash, sharps, equipment, or supplies before departure. Notify store in advance if the clinic team will be late. Reconcile all equipment and supplies at end of clinic and end of day. Escalate clinic issues to Market Manager, Store Manager, or Vetco Customer Service via the Incident Reporting process. Accountably complete all paperwork and checklists. Restock rig supplies and product bins at day’s end. Participate in company‑facilitated training on products, services, policies, and procedures. Complete the Clinic Lead reports for each shift. Qualifications Must be able to perform all clinic job roles. Outstanding customer service skills and aptitude for basic sales techniques. Professional appearance and demeanor, with a genuine interest in animals. Leadership qualities and experience. Ability to operate company vehicles. Effective communication, functional direction, and independent resolution of difficult situations. Comfortable handling and restraining animals in accordance with company policy. Existing partners applying must be in good standing. Working Conditions Job duties are primarily conducted indoors. Passenger vehicle travel required; overnight travel may be necessary in some locations. Risk of injury from bending, kneeling, moving equipment up to 40 lbs, and prolonged standing. Compensation and Benefits Salary Range: $16.75 – $23.00 per hour.
