Job Overview:
We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer II to join our team on a contract basis. In this role, you will leverage your expertise to support advanced engineering projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and delivering innovative solutions. This position requires a strong foundation in mechanical engineering principles, the ability to collaborate across teams, and a commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Validate engineering workflows and ensure the feasibility, safety, and utility of designs and simulations.
• Define tasks, benchmarks, and evaluation metrics to support project objectives.
• Provide domain expertise across various mechanical engineering disciplines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex engineering constraints into actionable solutions.
• Ensure all deliverables comply with applicable engineering standards and safety requirements.

Qualifications:

• 3-5+ years of practical, post-graduation mechanical engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficiency with industry-standard design and simulation tools.
• Broad foundational knowledge across mechanical engineering sub-fields.
• Experience working in cross-functional environments and effectively communicating technical information to diverse audiences.
• Basic scripting skills (e.g., Python, MATLAB) to support data parsing or interface with engineering environments.

Pay Range: $50/hour - $60/hour
