Seeking a Technician Who Can Handle Hooves, Paws, and Everything in Between! Wimberley Veterinary Clinic is seeking a Veterinary Technician to join our team and support outpatient and procedural care.We are seeking a versatile, client-focused technician who thrives in a dynamic general practice environment - balancing exam room care, client communication, and hands-on support. We are seeking dependable, motivated candidates who thrive in a fast-paced environment, work efficiently, anticipate team needs, communicate professionally, and take pride in delivering exceptional support throughout every stage of the patient visit. In this position, you will play a key role in both exam room and outpatient and procedures, contributing to a consistent, high standard of care throughout the patient visit. Responsibilities Include : Supporting efficient exam room, outpatient, surgical, and dental workflows Maintaining accurate, detailed medical records and treatment documentation Reviewing treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions with clients clearly and compassionately Identifying patient concerns and supporting efficient case management across the hospital Building strong client relationships through education, communication, and attentive service Schedule and Compensation Compensation: $18-$23 per hour, for each hour worked This is a full-time position with a 4/10 schedule and either Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday as your day off Benefits Package Bonus Package: Up to $500 based on years of experience Health Package: Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance (with HSA options) Life Insurance and Disability Employee Assistance Program 401k with company match Paid time off in accordance with site policy and applicable law Preferred Qualifications and Skill Set : 1+ years of veterinary technician or veterinary assistant experience required Proficiency in the following skills (preferred): Venipuncture and intravenous catheter placement Radiology positioning and safety protocols Medication administration and accurate drug calculations Laboratory sample collection and in-house diagnostic testing Why Choose Wimberley Veterinary Clinic?
