IR Tech FT Days

Under minimal supervision, performs basic to complex diagnostic radiographic procedures as requested by a licensed physician. Provides technical support for interventional radiographic examinations, including assessing patient condition, operating imaging equipment, preparing examination rooms, and maintaining equipment, supplies, and medications. Performs radiographic exams on all patients as necessary and completes established competencies within a designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned. Job Responsibilities Produces high‑quality diagnostic radiographs and rotates through advanced areas of diagnostic radiology, including OR, urography, open reductions, myelography, arthrography, placements, and trauma; assists the practitioner with fluoroscopy, arthrography, OR procedures, and trauma. Qualifications Education Required: Graduate of an accredited imaging program. Preferred: Associate’s degree. Experience Required: 2‑5 years of X‑ray experience. Preferred: 1‑3 years IR experience. Licenses & Certifications Required: ARRT (R); VI or CI preferred, BLS, state license if required.
