Sr VP of Property Claims

Welling Young, LLC has partnered with a rapidly growing Multi-line Third Party Administration/internal claims organization. This client is seeking a Senior Vice President of Property Claims . Under general direction from the Company, this position will, be responsible for the quality, accuracy, and performance of serious and complex Commercial Property claims; provide direction and technical guidance through a continuous process of management involvement; and will select, lead, mentor, manage the performance and development of other Company employees. Responsibilities Ensures that high quality Claim Summary Reports are being effectively completed and managed by Claim Leadership team to promote customer service excellence Ensures understanding and administration of claim policies, procedures, and practices in accordance with company and policy standards Directly responsible for implementing a people strategy that supports training and skills improvement initiatives that achieve increased bench strength and improved career pathing Provides leadership that encourages and supports a professional environment and promotes a business culture that leverages attainment of desired business results Focus on resolution and process improvement, fulfilling all obligations while maximizing cost effectiveness, helping the Company understand drivers, trends and helping our partners attract and retain business Qualifications 15+ years of commercial property claims experience 5+ years of leadership experience within a property claims technical operation Claims experience including Litigation, Coverage and vendor management #J-18808-Ljbffr Welling Young, LLC
