Regional Dry Van Company Driver W2 - Taylor, MI
Are you a CDL-A driver in search of an OTR opportunity that provides weekly home time and minimal physical demands? At American Trucking Group, we present dry van routes across the Midwest with excellent equipment and competitive pay. Experience the freedom of over-the-road driving while enjoying a consistent schedule that gets you home every week.
Home Time:
- Home every week for a 34-hour reset.
- Our OTR routes ensure steady miles while allowing you to spend quality time with family and personal commitments.
Equipment:
- Drive late-model International Pro Stars, Freightliner Cascadias, and Kenworth trucks equipped with 1,500-watt inverters and Opti-Idle systems for heating and cooling.
- You may take your assigned truck and trailer home if safe parking is available.
No Touch Freight:
- Primarily handle dry van freight with 95% no-touch and 85% drop and hook operations.
- Enjoy minimal physical work, allowing you to focus on driving and enhancing your efficiency.
Pay and Miles:
- Drivers typically earn between $1,200 to $1,600 per week based on mileage and performance.
- Additional compensation includes detention pay per customer policy, layover pay of $12 per hour after the first hour, and an annual safety bonus of $0.01 per mile for accident-free performance.
Running Area:
- Routes cover Wisconsin, Illinois, Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, and Iowa, with all tolls covered through EZ Pass and toll cards.
Benefits:
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance begins the first of the month following 60 days of employment.
- $20,000 company-paid life insurance, vacation pay, and a 401(k) plan with a 50% company match up to 3%.
- Passenger policy available after 30 days with age restrictions.
