PAY RATE: $15/HR
Overview A Dishwasher is responsible for the cleaning and organization of all dining and kitchen dishes. It is the responsibility of the Dishwasher to ensure that all dishes are cleaned and sanitized according to company standards of excellence. The Dishwasher is also responsible for the appearance and cleanliness standards of the Dishwasher station. Job Duties Arrive at work, ready for duty, in a clean uniform five minutes before the start of the shift. Set up the Dishwasher station so it is ready for the rush. Scrape and clean all dishes as they are delivered to the Dishwasher area. Organize all dishes after washing so they are ready to be put away. Put all dishes away in their correct place neatly. Change dishwasher water often to keep the water clean. Maintain the cleanliness of the dishwasher area. Do all clean-up and side work and have it checked by a manager before leaving. Accountabilities Maintain a clean and neat uniform at all times. Maintain a Clean-As-You-Go philosophy. Follow all clean-up charts and direction given by management for cleaning the restaurant. Follow and support all Union Social’s rules in private as well as in public. Offer assistance to all staff, without hesitation, as needed and available, and request help in the same manner. Complete all cleanup and side duties. Maintain a clean supply of china, glass, silverware, and utensils for the dining room and kitchen. Dispose of garbage appropriately. Experience Experience: None required. Position requires an age verification on all government-regulated equipment possessing age restrictions. Physical: Must be able to lift 50-75 pounds and must possess the dexterity and stamina to endure a fast-paced environment for an entire shift. Must be able to bend, step, reach, carry, lift, wipe, stand, stoop, slice, and cut in order to perform the duties of the position.
