Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 12 weeks Shift: 03:00 - 15:00 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Emergency Department License: Valid RN license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC Must-Have: - At least 2 years of Emergency Department experience for contract labor - BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC required Description: The Emergency Department consists of a secured psychiatric area and multiple procedure rooms. The unit has a total of 25 procedure rooms and additional beds for patient care. Staffing includes charge RNs, RNs, ED Technicians, and resources for psychiatric care. Patient ratios are typically 4:1, with flexibility for acute surges. Key skills include adaptability, strong communication, assessment capabilities, and critical thinking. Candidates should understand medical terminology and demonstrate dependability and punctuality. Preferred candidates will have additional safety certifications and experience. Typical procedures include trauma care, laceration repair, orthopedic trauma, IV insertion, and EKG interpretation. We seek motivated individuals who are creative problem solvers with a genuine desire to help and care for patients. Every other weekend commitment is expected for contract labor positions.
