This full-time position will have you working school hours from 7:45 a.m. to 3:45 p.m., Monday through Friday, serving as a vital bridge for a 4th-grade student excited to embark on their ASL journey. Qualifications:

• Licensed with the Kansas Commission on Deaf/Hard of Hearing (KCDHH)
• Proficient in American Sign Language (ASL)
• Previous experience in school environments preferred
• Patience, adaptability, and strong communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one sign language interpretation for a 4th-grade student new to ASL
• Collaborate closely with classroom teachers and related service providers
• Support the student’s learning, social integration, and participation in school activities
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in interpreting
• Potential to extend assignment for Extended School Year (ESY) services
