Are you passionate about helping patients understand their health, improve their quality of life, and confidently navigate chronic allergic and immunologic conditions? The Division of Allergy and Immunology at Akron Children's Hospital is seeking a compassionate and motivated Advanced Practice Provider to help expand our services and establish a growing presence in the Marietta/Belpre region.

Our Allergy and Immunology team currently provides comprehensive care across Northeast Ohio, including Akron, Medina, Mahoning Valley, North Canton, Boston Heights, Beachwood, Mansfield, and Wooster. As we continue to grow, this new location represents an exciting opportunity to bring specialized allergy and immunology care closer to patients and families in the community.

Our Advanced Practice Providers play an essential role in the evaluation, management, and education of both pediatric and adult patients with allergic and immunologic conditions. We pride ourselves on practicing evidence-based medicine while creating individualized treatment plans that empower patients to better understand and manage their disease.

Our team diagnoses and manages a wide variety of allergic and immunologic disorders, including:

• Environmental allergies and hay fever
• Asthma and allergic airway disease
• Chronic hives (urticaria) and swelling disorders
• Food and medication allergies
• Atopic dermatitis (eczema) and contact dermatitis
• Primary immunodeficiency disorders

Our providers utilize specialized diagnostic tools and procedures, including:

• Allergy skin testing
• Allergen-specific IgE blood testing
• Patch testing
• Oral food challenges
• Oral Immunotherapy
• Patient-centered education and long-term disease management

Who we are looking for:

Previous Allergy and Immunology experience is not required. Experienced providers and motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply.
