NOW HIRING: 1st Shift Trash Puller (Full-Time)
Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT)

Schedule: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (40 hours/week | Weekends Required)

Pay: $15.00/hour | Weekly Pay

What You'll Do

This is a physically active role where you'll stay on the move throughout your shift:

• Collect and transport trash, cardboard, and waste from terminals, restaurants, and restrooms
• Empty trash bins and replace liners
• Operate tilt trucks safely and transport waste to designated areas
• Maintain clean and organized trash rooms
• Work efficiently in busy, high-traffic environments
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE
• Comply with airport security regulations and badge requirements
• Report any safety concerns immediately

What We're Looking For

You're a great fit if you:

• Are reliable and punctual
• Prefer hands-on, physical work
• Can lift, push, and pull up to 80 lbs regularly
• Work well independently with minimal supervision
• Have reliable transportation
• Can communicate in English or Spanish

Airport Security Requirements

This position is in a secure airport environment. All candidates must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Pass a fingerprint-based background check (10-year history required)
• Obtain and maintain an airport security badge
• Meet physical job requirements
• Follow all airport safety and compliance policies

• U.S. Birth Certificate (not laminated)
• U.S. Passport
• Naturalization Certificate
• Permanent Resident Card

Position Requirements

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift, push, and pull 80 pounds repeatedly
• Must be able to perform physical movements necessary to execute the necessary functions and tasks of the job.
• Stand and walk 94% of the time
• Stooping: Bending body downward and forward.
• Kneeling: Bending legs at knees to come to rest on knee or knees.
• Reaching: Extending hands and arms in any direction.
• Handling: Holding, grasping, turning, or otherwise working with hands.
