Database Administrator

Implement and maintain DISA STIGs for Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Cassandra, and/or MongoDB Perform vulnerability scans, analyze findings, and remediate security weaknesses Support RMF processes and contribute to ATO packages Conduct security readiness reviews and document POA&M items Collaborate with ISSOs to validate and report compliance Review database SRG and/or STIG updates and report significant changes Determine the impact and risk of change requests before implementation Participate in meetings to provide cyber oversight for web changes affecting risk levels Perform system updates and IAVA patching Troubleshoot and resolve database problems Perform database recovery actions Modify existing database scripts and create new scripts for recurring database issues Develop and execute SQL queries for routine and ad hoc requests Maintain secure, highly available database environments across enterprise platforms Requirements Must be a U.S. Citizen Must possess a TS/SCI Security Clearance with an appropriate Polygraph Must have at least 5 years of demonstrated experience as a Database Administrator Must have at least 5 years of Oracle Database Administration experience In-depth experience implementing and maintaining database security controls In-depth experience applying Oracle CPU patches, IAVA patches, and other database products In-depth experience with Linux security as it relates to Oracle databases In-depth experience troubleshooting and resolving database problems and issues Hands-on experience installing, configuring, and upgrading RDBMS software Experience with procedural languages such as PL/SQL Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and at least eight years of relevant experience preferred Experience with real-time, highly available data replication technologies such as Oracle Data Guard, Oracle Streams, Oracle GoldenGate, and Sybase Replication Server preferred Experience with SAFe and/or as a member of an Agile team preferred Extensive, in-depth knowledge of Oracle and other relational and non-relational/NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL and MongoDB preferred Experience using Oracle SQL/PLSQL and SQL in general preferred Experience with MongoDB and/or Cassandra preferred Core Competencies Demonstrates extensive experience in Database Administration, particularly with Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB, while implementing security controls and performing vulnerability assessments.
