Join Our Dynamic Emergency Room Team as an ER Registered Nurse!

Job Description:


- Become an integral part of our fast-paced Emergency Room team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients facing acute illnesses, injuries, and life-threatening emergencies.


- Engage in rapid and comprehensive patient assessments, effectively determining appropriate care priorities.

- Utilize your triage skills to classify patients based on the severity and urgency of their conditions.

- Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, neurological status, and any changes in patient conditions to ensure optimal care.

- Administer medications, IV fluids, blood products, and other vital treatments as directed by the healthcare team.

- Initiate and maintain intravenous access while obtaining blood specimens for essential laboratory testing.

- Assist with critical emergency procedures, including CPR, trauma resuscitation, intubation, wound care, and other lifesaving interventions.

- Operate and monitor essential emergency equipment such as cardiac monitors, defibrillators, infusion pumps, and ventilators to support patient needs.

- Recognize signs of patient deterioration and promptly implement appropriate interventions for care.

- Collaborate effectively with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, respiratory therapists, laboratory staff, and all members of the healthcare team.

- Provide compassionate care for patients experiencing medical, surgical, cardiac, neurological, psychiatric, pediatric, and trauma-related emergencies.

- Educate patients and families on their diagnoses, medications, treatments, discharge instructions, and follow-up care.

- Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic health record.

- Adhere to infection-control procedures, medication-safety practices, and hospital policies to ensure patient safety.

- Participate in emergency preparedness initiatives, quality-improvement activities, and continuing education to enhance your skills.

Qualifications:


- Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.

- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.

- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification may be required.

- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification may be preferred or required.

- Previous emergency department, critical care, or acute-care nursing experience preferred.
