Associate Patient & Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Marketing Director

SUMMARY/JOB PURPOSEThe Associate Patient & Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Marketing Director will be responsible for the development and execution of the strategic and tactical activities associated with Patient, Advanced Practice Providers, and Nurse audiences across the TKI franchise while ensuring alignment with the overall brand and indication-specific strategies.ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIESLead patient, advanced practice provider, and nurse marketing initiatives.Drive coordination & alignment by engaging Exelixis cross-functional partners including Key Customer Strategy, Market Planning, Market Access, Sales, Sales Training, and Corporate Communications.Assumes a high level of coordination with GU and GI marketing teams.Liaise with Exelixis Public Relations to provide input and support to patient organizations as appropriate.Manage project timelines and ensure timely execution of programs and tactics.Lead projects to gain approval through the Review of Advertising, Marketing, and Promotion (RAMP) review process.Oversee production and distribution of materials and implementation of programs.Work closely with Sales Training to develop and deliver any necessary training needed to support Patient, APP, and nurse strategies and resource rollout.Manage APP and patient agencies, budget forecast, and spend to ensure resources are used appropriately and according to plan.Manage the execution of the APP/Nurse conference and product theater planPerforms other duties as assignedComplies with all policies and standardsSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESNo supervisory responsibilities.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS & ABILITIESEducationBS/BA degree in a related discipline and at least 11 years of related experience; orMaster’s degree in related discipline and 9 years of related experience; orEquivalent combination of education and experience.ExperienceExperience in Pharmaceutical marketing.Patient marketing, advocacy relations, public relations, digital marketing, and sales experiences are a plus.Oncology experience is strongly preferred.Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesRequired:Ability to develop sound strategic and tactical concepts and clearly articulate these to brand and cross-functional team members.Strong project management and agency management skills.Ability to form collaborative working relationships.Understanding of FDA Regulations of pharmaceutical drug promotions and experience with Legal, Medical and Regulatory review processes.Effective presentation and written communication skills.#LI-JP1Travel Requirements40% This position requires up to 40% of travel time.Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The base pay range for this position is $177,500 - $251,500 annually. The base pay range may take into account the candidate’s geographic region, which will adjust the pay depending on the specific work location.
