The Hospital

- Full-service primary care: wellness and preventive medicine, internal medicine, dental care, and general surgery
- On-site diagnostics and treatment: in-house laboratory, digital radiography (x-ray), and an on-site pharmacy

The Role
- Provide comprehensive patient exams, diagnostics, and medical work-ups
- Perform general surgery and dentistry with support from on-site diagnostics and nursing teams
- Utilize digital radiography, in-house lab, and on-site pharmacy to guide timely treatment plans
- Manage and monitor hospitalized cases; participate in daily rounds when appropriate
- Maintain accurate medical records and adhere to controlled-substance protocols
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients to ensure understanding and follow-through
- Collaborate with technicians, assistants, and hospital leadership to optimize workflows and protocols
- Schedule highlights: 4-day work week, no on-call or after-hours, clinic closed on Sundays
- Clinical autonomy with mentorship available for continued growth
Requirements
- DVM or VMD degree from an accredited institution
- License to practice veterinary medicine in Missouri (or ability to obtain)
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- DEA registration (or ability to obtain and maintain)
- 1+ years of experience in a veterinary practice
- Strong diagnostic, surgical, and dental skills; excellent communication and teamwork
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting up to 50 pounds
