Working under engineering direction, you’ll help translate project requirements, equipment information, and review comments into clear, accurate drawings.This is an opportunity to build practical electrical design skills while contributing to projects that improve energy reliability, resilience, and efficiency.ResponsibilitiesApply electrical engineering fundamentals to support distributed generation projects under the direction of experienced engineersPrepare and revise electrical site plans, equipment layouts, single-line diagrams, schedules, and installation details using AutoCADAssist with electrical load calculations, conductor and conduit sizing, voltage-drop calculations, and grounding documentation for engineering reviewSupport the integration of generation and energy storage equipment with existing and proposed low- and medium-voltage electrical systemsReview manufacturer drawings and technical information, identify missing or conflicting details, and incorporate engineer-approved equipment requirements into project documentsCoordinate electrical drawings with civil, structural, mechanical, and other disciplines, including equipment locations, clearances, foundations, and routingResearch applicable codes, utility standards, and permitting requirements, and assist engineers with supporting documentationIncorporate quality-control and review comments, check drawing consistency, and maintain accurate revisions and coordinated drawing setsParticipate in project meetings and assist with construction questions, drawing revisions, and record documents based on verified field informationOther duties as assigned.
