Description

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for patients spanning pediatric to geriatric populations, employing both standardized assessments and observational methods.
• Craft individualized treatment plans tailored to meet evolving communication, cognitive, or swallowing goals.
• Deliver focused speech therapy interventions that emphasize fluency, language, voice, and swallowing functions.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to foster cohesive care approaches.
• Provide educational support and resources for families to assist in therapeutic progress outside of clinic sessions.
• Contribute to sporadic inpatient evaluations and therapy, ensuring a seamless continuum of care throughout patient journeys.
• Uphold thorough and timely documentation meeting all state, federal, and organizational standards.
• Commit to ongoing professional growth and stay informed on advancements in the field through continuous education and peer engagement.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a regionally accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) for those not yet ASHA certified.

Certifications

• Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• BLS certification required within the first 30 days of employment.
