Slot Technician

Gaming Machine Technician
Performs corrective and preventive maintenance on video gaming machines. Works in a non smoke casino environment.
Essential Functions:
- Always be NICE to fellow staff and players/ find every opportunity to offer a friendly smile, wave and greeting
- Installs, tests and calibrates validators, boards, and monitors according to legal and Casino standards and regulations.
- Performs programming of gaming machine's memory.
- Trouble-shoots and repairs malfunctioning machines.
- Performs preventive maintenance on machines.
- Ensures gaming machines operate according to legal and Casino standards and regulations.
- Provides information to Guests by answering questions about slot machines and the casino in a helpful and friendly manner. Refers Guests when necessary to appropriate personnel.
- Adheres to all casino and departmental policies and procedures.
- Adheres to all applicable federal control standards.

Minimum Qualifications: Knowledge of electronics and AC-DC theory Ability to read schematics Public relations and oral communication skills Ability to trouble-shoot with meters and test equipment Knowledge of computers a plus Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds
Required Education: High school diploma or GED College degree in electronics preferred
Required Experience: Previous technical experience
