Oregon Urology Institute has an openings for a Physician Associate/Nurse Practitioner.

Oregon Urology Institute is one of the largest, most advanced urological centers in the Northwest. Oregon Urology Institute has openings for Physician Associate and/or Nurse Practitioner who functions as an integral member of a health team, providing comprehensive care to patients with acute or chronic medical conditions in a Urology focused independent medical group. Provider is responsible for assessment, diagnosis and treatment of patients with urologic needs.

Essential Functions and responsibilities:

• Provides care primarily in an office setting, with hospital rounding responsibilities.
• Evaluate patients to determine their medical condition.
• Perform clinical procedures for patient's benefit which are within scope and skill of practitioner and which are economically feasible.
• Communicate information to patients regarding diagnosis and treatment goals.
• Maintains accurate, complete, and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
• Perform other job related duties, as assigned.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Current, unrestricted PA or NP license in the state of Oregon or the ability to obtain.
• Ability to obtain DEA license.
• Knowledge of treatment and drug interactions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
