Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)-$7,500 dollar Sign On Bonus

Job Summary:

Birchwood Terrace Rehabilitation and Healthcare, a premier rehabilitation and healthcare organization, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. As a Speech Language Pathologist at Birchwood Terrace, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our patients and their families.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and provide rehabilitation services to patients with various medical conditions, focusing on improving their communication skills and overall well-being

• Develop and administer personalized treatment plans, setting realistic and achievable goals for each patient

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and achieve optimal patient outcomes

• Educate patients and their families on therapy methods and techniques

• Document patient progress and maintain accurate records

• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Rehabilitation

Qualifications:

• Doctorate degree in Speech Therapy from an accredited institution

• Valid professional license and registration to practice in the state of Vermont

• Experience in long-term care and/or geriatric care is preferred, but not required
