As a Manager Subcontract Programs 3, you’ll be a linchpin in missions of paramount importance, defining the art of the possible from day one. This position is located in Bertram, Texas. Remote work is not available.In this job, you will:Lead program execution for propulsion-related supplier activities, ensuring milestones are met, and objectives are achievedIdentify, assess, and manage risks and opportunities to mitigate challenges and optimize supplier performanceTrack supplier milestone completion and invoicing for forecast accuracyDrive resolution of technical issues in collaboration with suppliers, cross-functional teams, and other stakeholdersProvide frequent, detailed program status updates to internal teams, ensuring leadership and stakeholders are informed of progress, risks, and solutionsManage and oversee proposal efforts, including supplier coordination and cost analysis to align with program requirements.Coordinate and conduct supplier site visits as needed to ensure program compliance, facilitate collaboration, and drive issue resolutionWork in a fast-paced Program environment with responsibilities including rapid requirements execution, standard parts ordering, scrap/spare/replacement planning and serve as a GSC liaison to the Program Operations and GSC Execution IPTsThis role requires a leadership mindset, strong technical acumen, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentBasic Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree with 8 years of experience in a technical field or engineering and project management, OR a Master’s degree with 6 years of experience in a technical field or engineering and project management. Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degreeMust have experience with Microsoft Project and IMS LogicMust have material requirements planning and/or advanced planning experienceMust have experience with complex machined parts including welding and special processesMust have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearanceAbility to travel up to 15% of the timePreferred Requirements:Capability to read technical drawings and documentsUnderstanding of hardware, material requirements, and critical suppliers for solid rocket motorsHigh Proficiency working with MRP/ERP systemsAbility to communicate complex technical information internal customersExperience and understanding FAR/DFAR provisions including the requirements necessary to maintain a government approved contractor approved purchasing system (CPSR)Demonstrated expertise in supporting complex proposals of significant valueDemonstrated experience implementing and executing material program plans to meet program objectivesCurious about all the exciting developments with the Northrop Grumman Space Sector? Click the link below: Level Salary Range: $175,400.00 - $263,200.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
