Clinical Pharmacist in Racine, WI

A clinical pharmacist position is available for a contract-to-hire opportunity in Racine, WI, focusing on delivering exceptional pharmaceutical care with an emphasis on sterile compounding and home infusion services. The ideal candidate will have recent IV and sterile compounding experience, ensuring safe and accurate medication preparation and verification.


Responsibilities:

• Verify and process IV medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Prepare and compound IV medications in the clean room under sterile conditions
• Perform various clinical pharmacy duties to support patient care
• Participate in on-call rotations, including every 4th weekend and one night per week

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active and clear Wisconsin pharmacist license
• Minimum 2 years of recent sterile compounding experience, particularly in home infusion preferred
• Current experience with IV medications is required
• CPR certification preferred
• Strong knowledge of aseptic techniques and regulatory compliance

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 8-hour shifts, typically 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
• On-call responsibilities every 4th weekend and one night per week
