Travel Surgical Tech/ORT - Certified Surgical Technologist/CST

American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist for a Level 1 trauma academic hospital OR position requiring a wide range of surgical skills across multiple specialties.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience required
- BLS certification required
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification via NBSTSA required
- License required if applicable
- Must meet Massachusetts state requirements for Surgical Technologists, including graduation from an accredited surgical technology program and active certification from NBSTSA or NCCT, completion of a military surgical technology program, or employment as a surgical technician on or before 7/1/2013
- Level 1 trauma center experience required
- Must have a wide range of surgical skills including General, Lap, Robotic, Ortho, and Neuro cases
Responsibilities
- Acute care setting in a 23-room operating room at an academic facility
- OR handles 50-70 cases per day across General, Lap, Robotic, Ortho, Neuro, and ENT/Eyes specialties
- Night shift schedule with options for 4x10 (9p-7a) or 3x12 (7p-7a) shifts
- Call and weekend rotation required approximately once per month
- Weekend shifts are typically 12 hours, with possible 8-hour weekday shifts in rotation
- EPIC EMR used
- Exposure to trauma cases in a high-volume academic surgical setting
- Travel experience preferred
- Call expectations are aligned with permanent staff requirements and assigned by call center
- Weekend and evening rotation schedules are determined at manager's discretion
