Dietitian (PRN)

Position Summary: Plans, directs, and coordinates nutritional services and care for inpatients; establishespolicies and procedures forpatient nutritional care; supports Food Services and Nursing Departments with educationregardingpatient nutritionalcare; assistsinestablishingofpolicies and procedures for food safety/sanitation, preparation, distribution. Pay: Rate of pay is based on years of experience and qualifications. Minimum Qualifications: Licensed Dietitian with the State Board of Examiners of Dietitians Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained from the American Heart Association and/or American RedCross. Online certification is not acceptable. Knowledge,Skillsand Ability Requirements: Strong knowledge of nutrition and dietetics, including familiarity with methods of teaching, principles of education, andnutritional requirements of individuals of varying ages and degrees of health. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational, timemanagementand prioritization skills. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Detail-oriented, able to meet stricttime frames.
