divh2Caregiver Position/h2pSeeking a compassionate caregiver to provide companion care for an elderly lady living in Alexandria, VA. Vietnamese fluency is highly desirable. Expected shifts are mornings for 4 hours, 3 days per week. She is a petite lady who needs assistance with ADLs to include transferring, bed baths, and dressing. Some meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands may be expected. She lives with her family who needs help caring for her during their busy time of day. Caregiver must have reliable transportation. High likelihood of additional shifts later./ppStart at $18 per hour. Time and a half for major holidays. Earn bonus for referring new caregivers. Build caring relationships with seniors as you help them safely improve their quality of life./ppJob Responsibilities:/pulliFollows the instructions of the PAS Supervisor in providing personal assistance services./liliProvide assistance with hygiene such as bathing, oral care, and dressing./liliAssist with food preparation; serve food, performs errands, light housekeeping, laundry, wash dishes./liliObserve and report any safety hazards found in the clients home or any significant observations regarding the client./liliAttend staff meetings, attend/complete 12 hours of annual in-services, and participates in orientation of new employees./liliReport client complaints to the PAS Supervisor./liliReport abnormal findings in clients conditions as observed and per care plan to RN./li/ulpRequired Skills Qualifications:/pulliExperience: One year of experience as a Caregiver.
