Registered Nurse - CVOR

$2325.60/week - Job Summary: Seeking a highly skilled CVOR RN to join the cardiovascular surgery team at a leading hospital in Asheville, NC. This travel position offers an opportunity to work in a high-acuity environment with advanced equipment and a supportive team. Responsibilities: Provide specialized nursing care to cardiovascular surgery patients in the CVOR unit. Prepare and operate advanced monitoring and surgical equipment, including GE Carescape and Fuji ultrasound systems. Assist with preoperative procedures such as large-bore IV starts, hair removal, and skin assessments. Support intraoperative processes including patient positioning, induction, intubation, and assisting with arterial, central, and epidural line placements. Transport patients to the OR and facilitate perioperative care according to hospital policies. Document patient interventions accurately and promptly in Cerner system. Qualifications: Valid RN license with minimum two years of recent critical care experience. Current BLS and ACLS certifications required. Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Experience with BCMA preferred.
