Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist - $3,612 per week

Job Title Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR Tech) Location Royal Oak, Michigan Duration and Schedule 14‑week assignment, 40 hours per week, 10‑hour night shifts. Job Description As an IR Tech, you will operate fluoroscopic equipment, assist physicians with minimally invasive, image‑guided procedures, prepare and observe patients, and report abnormal activity. Key Responsibilities Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain procedures to patients. Assist in scrubbing all diagnostic and interventional procedures. Monitor patients during all procedures. Demonstrate thorough knowledge of radiation protection standards, devices, and techniques to ensure adequate safeguards. Demonstrate knowledge of physiology and anatomy to interpret examination requests accurately. Operate intravenous (IV) and dye injector pumps. Maintain accurate patient records. Use the McKesson PACS system. Requirements Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience. BLS, ACLS, and ARRT (R or VI) National Certification; state‑specific licensing as required. Vascular Interventional certificate preferred. Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, and stoop for long periods without difficulty. Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
