Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
• Valid state license to practice as an SLP
• Prior experience in a school setting, especially at the elementary level, is preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with teachers, parents, and educational staff
• Ability to assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for a range of speech, language, and communication disorders

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to elementary students
• Conduct evaluations, write assessment reports, and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with teachers, school administrators, and parents to ensure students receive comprehensive support
• Offer guidance and in-service training for staff regarding communication disorders and strategies for classroom inclusion
• Maintain ongoing documentation of student progress and update treatment plans as necessary
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute insights to educational planning for each child
