Summary The Utility Associate performs a variety of cleaning and maintenance duties while assisting with the preparation of food items, as instructed. Responsibilities Performs a variety of cleaning and organizing activities, including: Scrapes, stacks and loads pots, pans, dishes, trays, silverware and glassware into dishwasher Scrubs pots Unloads dishwasher and stores contents in proper locations Cleans counters, tables and chairs Cleans ovens, grill, deep fat fryer and steam tables Sweeps, scrubs and mops floors Cleans walls, windows and ledges Drains and cleans dishwashing machine Provides assistance to cooks, including: May wash and slice vegetables May carve meat and portion items May wrap food items for serving or storage May set up, tear down and replenish food lines May gather ingredients Uses safety/sanitation procedures to protect self and others Other information High School diploma or GED is preferred Food Handlers Certificate within 6 months of hire Job Details Legal Employer: Nash Hospitals Entity: Nash UNC Health Care Organization Unit: NGH Dietary Work Type: Full Time Standard Hours Per Week: 36.00 Work Assignment Type: Onsite Work Schedule: Rotating Location of Job: NASH HC Exempt From Overtime: No Qualified applicants will be considered without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, genetic information, disability, status as a protected veteran or political affiliation. #J-18808-Ljbffr
