About the Position

We are seeking a Urology Physician for a locum tenens opportunity providing hospital‑based 24‑hour call coverage. The provider will manage adult urology patients (18+) in an inpatient setting with consultative and procedural responsibilities. Average callback time is approximately 8–10 hours on Fridays and around 4 hours per day on weekends. Epic EMR is used for documentation, and all orientation hours are payable.

Shift Details:

• 24‑hour call coverage (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM)
• Inpatient consults, procedures, and urgent urology care
• Hospital‑based practice setting
• Weekend coverage included

Coverage Dates / Schedule:

• May 15 (7:00 AM) – May 18 (7:00 AM)
• June 12 (7:00 AM) – June 15 (7:00 AM) or June 19 (7:00 AM) – June 22 (7:00 AM)
• July 3 (7:00 AM) – July 6 (7:00 AM)

Requirements

MD with Urology specialization
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology
Active Pennsylvania medical license or willingness to obtain
DEA registration required
Minimum of 1 year of urology experience
Epic EMR experience preferred
Comfortable with independent call coverage
Clean and up‑to‑date work history
Credentialing timeframe approximately 90 days; temporary privileges may be available with a clean file
