Job Description
The AP/AR Accountant will handle accounts payable and accounts receivable for three affiliated companies. The role centers on subcontractor and vendor invoice processing and lien waiver tracking in a construction accounting environment.Key Responsibilities
- Process subcontractor and vendor invoices accurately and on schedule across all three affiliated entities
- Track, collect, and reconcile lien waivers before releasing payments
- Manage accounts receivable, including billing, cash application, and collections follow-up
- Code transactions to the correct entity, job, and cost code
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Support month-end close for each entity
- Maintain organized documentation for audits and job files
- 4+ years of AP/AR accounting experience
- Experience processing subcontractor and vendor invoices
- Experience tracking lien waivers
- Construction industry experience (job cost, subcontractor payables)
- Ability to manage work across multiple affiliated entities
