Quick Facts: Location: Wilmington, NC Start Date: 10/01/2026 Duration: Ongoing Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Hours/Week: 35 hours Employment Type: Full-time Licenses/Certifications: Medical license required Experience: Prior inpatient rehab experience preferred Pay & Benefits: Hourly Rate: $1.00 Pay package discussed upon application Benefits include: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Licensure, travel, and certification reimbursements when applicable Paid sick time in accordance with laws What You’ll Do: Lead multidisciplinary team conferences for inpatient rehab patients Manage a caseload primarily involving neurologic diagnoses such as stroke and TBI Collaborate with APPs and other healthcare professionals on patient care plans Provide consultation services, managing 25-40 patients Participate in quality improvement and care coordination efforts Ensure adherence to facility protocols and standards Document patient progress and outcomes accurately What You Need: Active State medical license in North Carolina Prior inpatient rehab experience preferred Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team About the Assignment: Join a dedicated team at a top inpatient rehab hospital attached to New Hanover Regional Medical Center, with a maximum census of 33 patients. Focus primarily on neurologic recovery and rehabilitation, with opportunities to provide consultative care and lead team meetings.
