School-Based Physical Therapist - Midlothian, TX

Location: Midlothian, TX

Position Type: Full-Time

Schedule: 36 Hours Per Week

Caseload: 37 students

Pay: Hourly pay starting at $42 (Rate is based on experience and negotiable)

Soliant Health is partnering with a school district in Midlothian, TX, to hire a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) for the upcoming school year. If you're passionate about helping elementary students develop the communication skills they need to succeed both inside and outside the classroom, we'd love to hear from you!

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to students in grades K-12 based on individual student needs and IEP goals.
• Conduct physical therapy evaluations and reevaluations and prepare required reports and documentation.
  Provide direct physical therapy services and consultative services to support students within the school environment.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, PTAs, and multidisciplinary teams to support student mobility, participation, and educational success.
• Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings and related team meetings as needed.
• Manage a caseload of approximately 37 students with a combination of direct and consultative service needs.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Physical Therapist license in the applicable state.
• School-based experience preferred but not required
